Synchronicities
Welcome to my synchronicities diary.
I experience signs and synchronicities almost daily, and want to share some of those experiences with you here. Sometimes it might be three a week, sometimes just once a month. I'd also love to be part of any signs which are sent your way - you can email me your own stories here. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. Laura x
1 October (my birthday)
Today a friend sent me a message, saying "I know you will receive a message from Janice today on your birthday." As I was working, I smiled and carried on with the day. After lunch as we headed back into the session, I said to the client, should we find a sweet treat? She said oh, maybe later.

When we walked in the room with the rest of the team her assistant was taking out two boxes of cupcakes from Susie Cakes (as a surprise for my birthday). And my heart skipped a beat. Susie Cakes had become Janice and mine's favorite birthday celebration. I know those beautiful pink frosted cupcakes came with a wink and a nod from Janice on the other side.

28 September
A small one today. I'm in Glastonbury at the most amazing retreat. And of course, I see this. Sister Janice always has to make an appearance.

A time when I didn't listen to the signs which were right there in front of me!
20 September
My planned flight to the UK had a really tight connection, which was making me kind of anxious, so I was talking to my husband about maybe booking an earlier flight. He said sure, do it! But I wanted a clear sign - which the Universe sent me in the form of my nail salon's phone number painted on the window. It had three 3's in it - the flight i wanted to change to was at 3pm.
But did I listen? No! I didn't change my flight, I made excuses. And what happened? My original flight (the one I was still booked onto!) was cancelled while we were boarding. No additional flights for 24 hours. I didn't listen to my gut, or to the signs.
But did it matter? I made it to the UK on time. United gave me a hotel for the night. And on my extended journey I met a lovely woman who is looking for a coach; two military retirees who I had a fascinating conversation with; my Lyft driver and I also had a great talk about his career fears and the advent of AI, and a lovely couple on the flight helped me with my luggage.

This is just to say. Yes - listen to, follow, and act on the signs.
But if you don’t, it’s ok. If we truly believe the Universe has our back then the alternative path lights up in front of us providing all manner of opportunities we may not otherwise encounter. Like the ability to actually sit down and drink a coffee in terminal A and enjoy the ride, contemplating how, despite fear and division there is truly goodness in the world. We just need to remain open.
